Kartboy 5-Speed Short Shifter 2002-2014 WRX, 1997-2008 Forester

Fabricated right here in the US from CNC'd and TIG welded 4130 chromoly steel, Kartboy's short throw shifter shortens shift travel by 40%.

Simple installation takes about an hour. (Allow a little longer on 2008+ cars because you have to take apart more of the interior.)

NOTE: If you have the accessory STi short shifter assembly (you can identify by the gold colored shafts, and by the narrower-width pivot) on your 2004-2007 Impreza/WRX, you'll need the GC (1997-2001) version of this short shifter. If you don't know, take your console apart and look at, and measure the shifter pivot point! See photo of what the shifters look like.

This Kartboy short shifter does not including bushings. If you need to replace the lever pivot bushings, we suggest these from Turn In Concepts.

Available for all 1997-2014 five-speed manual Impreza, WRX, and 1997-2008 Forester. If you have a six-speed model, you'll want the Kartboy six-speed shifter .
